I think this quote is saying that sometimes arguing for what you stand for is a give or take situation . Sometimes when you fight for what you believe in , sometimes you may have to face consequences in order to be sucessful and or achieve your goal .
This is a good qoute.I think this qoute mean you cant buy the basics. You have to learn it yourself. You cant buy everything in life. You have to put hard work into it. That is what the qoute mean to me.
What I believe this quote is trying to say is a lot. There is a lot of words which make it very confusing but that is okay. Like i said this quote means somethings you have to do in life without questioning it. So if you want to accomplish it you have to do it the regular way. Sort of like basketball moves. I believe this quote is saying that when you make a compromise on something it’s an agreement that’s suppose and should be based off of what’s best for both people involved . But sometimes in life people only make to the point that the compromise only helps them and not everyone involved. But what they don’t realize is that in compromising it’s not about what you get from it, it’s about what you and the other person gives in order for it to work and for it to truly be a compromise. And if you don’t go through a compromise with the best interest of both people in mind, you are basically surrendering in the case of just worrying about yourself which is not a true compromise. Because a compromise is forgetting about what happened and just getting past it and coming to a decision in order to make the situation better for all. So when in life you have a conflict or a situation in which you and the person can’t get along , you have to get along and set aside your differences and make the situation best for all .So with that being said instead of going through life with grudges , you should try to solve the problem with compromising before it gets any worse and nobody wants to solve the problem. But when you do decide to compromise make sure you do it with you and the other person’s best interest in mind, and if you do this then others will too and it will benefit us by making us better people as a whole and it will make the world better as we know it. -Kennedee Gardner* -Period 1*
I think this quote is saying that u must always give I'n order to receive. Don't take anything for granted because you might not know what happens. Give and take isn't right. I feel that you must give all the time. You can't be greedy about everything you give. This quote simply means that work and effort is not upon a bet. It is simply inducing your skills as a character. A bet has two parts to it which is; winning or losing! But being able to say you've learn something only contains one part that is being manifested and that is winning. You have to learn to do something in life without it having to be a bet for you to succeed. Specially when everyone can be a winner why settle for less. Also when you get the knowledge why not share it with your peers? I mean yea you when, but do you really win or be a sore looser sort of speak. Why not share what you know so we all as a community can progress?
