This quote relates to my life. I am expected to do great things. My father constantly tells me "You're smarter than me man, you got to do better". Even though I play it off like I can't I know for sure I can be an honor roll student. That is one thing I am working hard towards. I actually like the way my parents want me to be great. Not just in school in everything.
This quote is saying that we should want to work hard in everything ! Especially if our parents have high expectations for us, because there are alot of people that dont think that their kids are going to make in life ! Or sometimes people dont even have high expectations for their children because "Think" they wont be anything in life, but it takes alot of support from your parents , and without that support from your parents you wont achieve your dreams ! Parents are your main resource in achieving life ! So if your parents have high expectations , make them proud .
THIS QUOTE IS SAYING THAT YOU SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO SHOW HOW GREAT YOU ARE. YOU SHOULD BE SO GREAT THAT OTHERS NEED A YARD STICK TO MEASURE YOUR GREATNESS. SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT USED TO BE AROUND OTHERS WHO ARE DOING POSTIVE THINGS. THEREFORE, THEY WILL NOT EVEN TRY. IF A PERSON IS SURROUNED BY GREATNESS, THEY MAY HAVE A MORE POSTIVE ATTITUDE.
This simply is saying make a change for not only yourself but for your community as well. Give them somebody to look up to. Assure them that they can do it to . Show them that standing for average is like telling other "c'mon and be better than me". Showing them that the sky is the limit, and no matter who they are they can and will make. Set an example for them and make them comfortable with being successful. And last of all be able to say your proud of your self fo helping the community.
I believe this quote is saying that you shouldn’t settle for just being regular. Many times throughout life people don’t have the courage to take a chance to actually make a difference because they are too scared of failing. So they just settle for mediocrity and being mediocre because they feel as if since everyone on e else is the same then they should be to. But what they don’t realize is that if they don’t take the chance to dare to be different then no one else will , because everyone needs and example. So be the example to others by having the courage to make a stand , by daring to be different , and who knows you little simple dare can be the changing of a better mankind as we know it . Think about all of the great people throughout history .What if they would’ve been too scared to take a chance to stand up for what they believed in. Maybe if they wouldn’t have taken the chances they did then the things that we’ve got accustomed to and learned to love wouldn’t even exist. So with that being just because being regular is accepted don’t let that stop you from making a change because you could/can really make a difference. So strive to be the best you can be because if you won’t no one will. So with that being said we should all go through life taking chances and not worrying about failing but we should just focus on making a chance and setting a standard for others. -This quote has many significant meanings. One thing this quote could mean is that some people don't accept others who are excellence in what they do. One of the main things people hate to see is someone who is excellent in what they do. They also don't like the fact that they know what they are doing when they do it. Life is full of people that are expected to be something in life. Everyone has certain standards that they have to set for themselves in life while others have standards set by others that they have to follow. I see this happen alot to me in life because my mother and father expect for me to the best that I can be in life. Not everyone has parents to tell them what to do and that expects them to be better or just as good as they were. Over time I was able to set those standards my parents set for me and now I am able to keep doing good and be EXCELLENT in everyhting I do because that has become habitual for me in my life and my life to come.
To me this quote is saying many people are are so use to setting high expectation for themselves. Therefore when they get around someone who set goal to win they feel awkward or uncomfortable. That's why no one should be afraid to win. Never doubt your ability to conquer the world !!
