The meaning of words

Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning.

  1. I think this quote is saying that you have to emphasize your words more. When people say actions speak louder than words i dont believe that, i think words are more active. You have to say your words to make them have meaning. No one will never believe what you say or pay any attention to you until you command people with your words. Speaking out loud shows how you really feel because writing it down on paper doesn't show any expression. Speak with confodence and then you'll demand the floor. Talking is what you need to do in order to show how you feel.

  2. I think this quote means that you can say things but not really mean them. For instance, we could take a contract for example. When you are doing a bet or getting hired for a job, you have to sign a contract to make sure your word is bond and that you aren't just saying anything. Over time when you say things that aren't true people will stop taking you serious. Also when you sat you are going to do something, you should do it because it came out of your mouth and those were your own words, nobody elses. Human beings are very perculiar people because people can say what they want but it can mean something totally different from what you thought it did. Many people have their own way of interpreting things the way they want to or according to how good it may sound in ther heads. Things like this will not get you very far in life and may even get you in trouble with certain people in life. When someone says something of importance you should take it into consideration and listen to what they said because it may be the one thing that will save your life (something my mama always tells me). I also think this quote is saying that when you talk out of your own mouth, people can see what type of person your are. When you write it done, yes they can see how you write but that really doesn't what type of person you are. A way of expressing yourself is by talking or speaking out. Remember that the next time you want to say aomething but can't but make sure its wise. My daddy used to always say "It's better to be thought a fool then to open your mouth an remove all doubt". Thats something I think about throughout my everyday life growing up.

  3. I think this quote is similar to actions speak louder than words. The quote is saying that it means nothing if you write it but don't do it. In order for something to be "epic" it has to make a big impact. Just writing something on a sheet of paper means nothing unless you live it! I take a real man or woman to make the word come alive. Nobody is going to think about it if they have to read it so if they listen then they'll soak it all in. I think it is saying that it has to be said in ortder for it to be done .

  4. This quote means to me you have to mean what you say and say what you mean. Expressing how you feel sounds better when it comes out of your mouth.Like they say actions speak louder than words. You can't just say your going to do something and you don't.You have to tell people how you feel if you don't they'll never know. In life some people dont like to say what they mean only writing it down as if someone can read your mind and think what you feel.Express yourself and be more open.

  5. I think this quote basically means that words on paper dont affect someone then words out of the mouth. Thats sort of true because words on paper wouldnt mean much to me but in person would effect me emotionally. For instance like if someone broke up with you over a text you would be highly upset but in person you probably will break down. Like certain words on paper have little or no meaning until they come out of someones mouth it can disturb you. Thats why I watch what I say to certain people. That is what i feel this quote is saying. Well mostly saying to me.

I think this qoute means what you read on paper is more the what it says. You may get a different perspective when you read it then someonelse does.In order for everyone to fully understand what you are saying you personally have to use your voice and say it. That is my perspective on this qoute.

  7. I think this quote means that words matter more when they are expressed verbally. When words are expressed verbally, the mood is better understand through the speaking and the emotion. It also matters more if someone's feelings is said directly to the person and could be very effective. Writing on paper won't convey the right message as if saying it to the person because there will not be much confusion on the actually meaning of the writing.

  8. i think that this quote is saying no matter what you say, who you say it to, or how you say it. It doesn't matter unless you really mean it from your heart. Anyone can write words and anyone can read them off of a paper, but when you take those words and found out what they mean and how they apply to and then say it, it makes a big difference between reading and interpreting.

  9. I think this quote states a humans voice is much more convincing than a document. With an argument both sides can state their point. When you read something you can't get your point across to the other side. When you argue with someone both sides will leave with somewhat of a different point of view.

  10. This quote means that words mean nothing on paper. We,humans, have a voice for a reason. We speak words into existence. Thats why we have to watch what we say. People are better understood when self spoken, rather than a written document. Thats why when people read thigns they have different perspectives. There is no confusion when someone is speaking directly to you. Words are the most powerful things a person can use.

  11. I believe that this quote means that anybody can write their ideas down and say that they are going to get around doing them but it takes someone extraordinary to actually put those words into actions. Many times throughout life people make to do list of all their goals/achievements that they want and plan to accomplish in life, but sooner or later they forget all about the list and just go throughout life not accomplishing any of the things that they said they were going to do. But what they need to do in actuality is take that list with them throughout life as a guide on what they need to accomplish because if they do then their mind would be set on the right thing and it would help them keep on track and help them to prevent falling off. Many times throughout life people see and read many things about what’s right and what’s wrong but sometimes some people just need to an example; someone to tell them exactly what they read and so them so they can truly understand the essence of the concept. Sometimes you need someone to really explain and show you something so you will be able to truly understand what is that is trying to be said. Also in life we need these people who lead by example to be our leaders and to set these examples for us and to take what is taught/said on paper and extend it and break down what it is saying so we can truthfully understand. I believe this quote is also telling us that anyone can write something down but we won’t be able to understand what they are trying to say and what emotions they have about this topic without them actually telling us and breaking it down. Because when someone speaks you can feel every emotion and every thought that is going through their mind and body. You can truthfully feel their emotions because you actually her it coming out of their mouth and it doesn’t leave you wondering what perspective it is coming from; you don’t have to wonder you would already know. So with that being said I believe that if we right something down than we should follow it and use it to its fullest ability by sharing it with the world and telling them what we know because if we don’t then who will . Because no one can express someone’s written thoughts better than the person that wrote them. We also need to tell them to not leave them wondering ; to let them know what’s right and what’s wrong because actions and verbal words speak louder than anything that you could ever write on paper because it actually has a voice which is the person who written the words down. So I believ e that we should all have the courage to go through life with the courage to speak and teach others the thoughts that we have written down because it takes a truly extraordinary person to do that, and if we do that then their wouldn’t be anyone in the world wondering because we all would know, and this will not only make us better as a community but as a whole world.

  12. I believe this quote means for us to actually go about our words.Any and everyone can write meaningful words on a piece of paper, but it take s a believer to follow up their actions. We shouldn't make promises we can't keep simply because, their is always someone watching or waiting for a change to be made. All in all if we don't follow our written words the we become hypocrites to our generattion and mainly ourselves.Say what you mean and mean what you say!

  13. Anything can be wrote on paper, but it holds an displays more power when spoken by a strong voice. The way something is said can express the meaning or issue even more. It could even portray a different image. Also can give whatever ever is written a deeper meaning. Sometimes it takes a voice for something to be understood as well. Voices are powerful tools we need to use in a positive way. This is what this quote means to me.

  14. the meaning that a word is given is only a general concept of the word, but this qoute is saying that as humans, we are not generic but different amongst ourselfs and as social animals we always add in our own meaning to a concept, and in this case words, and give it "new life" As time goes on we devolp new ideas, new thoughts, new ways of living thus recycling words with entirely new meaning and possible forming new with old meaning just to coresspond with the current society.

  15. I think this quote is saying that you can just be writing something that you don't mean. If you say what means, i think it would be much poweful. Sometimes, you may write about something while you're mad and regrte it later. Writing while you'll mad, may cause you to lose some friends. I think saying what you mean is much powerful because you are actually speaking the truth.
